A visit to Bangladesh Millitary Museum

tl;dr, Some of my friends and I decided to visit the Bangladesh Millitary Museum.

Being a resident of Dhaka and you haven’t visited the Bangladesh Military Museum yet, you are seriously missing out. Frankly Speaking, even if “military stuff” isn’t what excites you, this place really hits different.

It’s right at Bijoy Sarani, and honestly, it looks like something straight out of a dream. I will be puting up some pictures at the end of the blog. Unlike traditional boring museums, This one is really exciting. There are in total 3 floors. [4 if you count the basement but whatever] and each with its own theme. It also has a cineplex of its own. Call this the ultimate tour place whether you’re from abroad or just a citizen.

It’s a really weird mixed feeling. Like such good airconditioning with the combination of VR that really shows how far we have come as a nation.

My advice is you keep a good sum of money with you as:

• Per person ticket price 150 taka (More for foreigners)
• The art gallery there requires another ticket purchase of 150 taka
• There’s a shop there where you can buy little souvenirs.
• You can’t take big bags with you so be sure to keep some spare change to pay for a locker.
